At SDE, we are committed to meaningful engagement with our community. This includes supporting local clubs that have a positive impact on young children and actively participating in neighbourhood events. Our involvement extends to sponsoring local sports clubs and contributing to various local activities. Additionally, we prioritise environmental responsibility, from selecting eco-friendly stationery to renovating buildings with sustainability in mind. Our efforts are focused on creating a better future for our community and, most importantly, for our children.

Amersham & Chiltern RFC Sponsorship

We are delighted to sponsor the Amersham & Chiltern Rugby Club which is a thriving club committed to rugby, fun and friendship - for serious and social players aged 5 to 60+. The Club has been a core part of Amersham's local community for 99 years and always welcomes all its visitors socially or, during the season, from the minis, juniors, or senior sections alike. A&C on a Saturday buzzes with the excitement of watching the 1st or 2nd Teams play and on Sunday families come from all over for the minis and junior training and matches or festivals. We look forward to being part of A&C's Centenary celebrations later this year.

Beaconsfield Cricket Club Sponsorship

We are so happy to continue our support for Beaconsfield Cricket Club (BCC) through a new 4 year sponsorship agreement from 2023. This long term arrangement gives BCC secure income which can be used to help promote youth cricket in the area. Beaconsfield Cricket Club is a beautifully manicured green lung at the heart of the community that has been welcoming local cricketers for almost 200 years.

The atmosphere is friendly, relaxed and welcoming, with over 500 male and female players of all ages and abilities training and playing throughout the summer months. Where better to kick back, relax with the family and enjoy the fabulous Buckinghamshire summer? A not-for-profit organisation, BCC is led by a sterling team of volunteers whose hard work and dedication has enabled the club to grow substantially in recent years. With over 150 women and girls now training regularly, it also boasts one of the largest female memberships in grassroots cricket.

2023 was a particularly successful year for the senior section of the club, with three teams earning promotion within their leagues.

Beaconsfield Cricket club is a friendly and inclusive environment, welcoming players of all abilities, from total beginners to more experienced players, from 6 to 60+. All are welcome!

Gerrards Cross Lawn Tennis Club is one of the largest and most active tennis clubs in Buckinghamshire, offering year-round tennis, coaching and competitions for players of all ages and abilities. Beaconsfield Town FC is a semi-professional football club based in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, which plays its home matches at Holloways Park. Chiltern Cheetahs

SDE is a proud sponsor of the Chiltern Cheetahs, a competitive tumble and cheerleading programme based in Buckinghamshire. Run on a not-for-profit basis, the club was founded in September 2012 by Jessica Goodall. It offers recreational and competitive teams from beginner level through to elite Worlds level, with athletes training and performing at Regional, National and International competitions throughout the year. Sessions include tumbling, stunting, jumps and dance, while promoting teamwork, confidence, commitment and friendship. Alongside developing fitness, resilience and performance skills, the club takes pride in giving athletes unforgettable experiences and valuable life lessons that go far beyond the sport.

Honeypot Charity

Susan Daughtrey Education proudly supports The Honeypot Children’s Charity, the only UK charity offering respite breaks and ongoing outreach support to vulnerable children and young carers aged 5 to 12. These children, often shouldering adult responsibilities due to caring for family members or facing challenging circumstances like domestic violence or extreme deprivation, receive a chance to enjoy their childhood in a nurturing environment through Honeypot’s services. This partnership not only aims to fund and maintain Honeypot’s essential services but also to raise awareness and positively impact the lives of young people, especially SDE's 11+ students.
