On a day that began with drizzle and brightened into sunshine, the Chesham Bois Village Fete came alive with community spirit and festive activities. Susan Daughtrey Education (SDE) sponsored Chiltern Radio, enabling Chesham Bois Parish Council to use the funds that would have been spent on this service to reinvest in community initiatives.
The fete offered a rich array of attractions, including 40 stalls, a kids' bouncy castle, arts and crafts, and a circus workshop led by Colonel Custard. A flypast by a Lancaster aircraft and live music further enlivened the atmosphere, complemented by a BBQ and various food options.
Aleksandra and Katy on behalf of SDE were present to engage with the community, providing information to attendees who expressed interest. Cindy the dog, sporting her SDE 11+ t-shirt, also added a touch of charm, delighting attendees and underscoring our community-focused approach.
