You can now reserve a place on an SDE 11+ Course up to 5 years in advance, subject to the following terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions are in addition to the SDE 11+ Course terms and conditions.
“Provisional Period” is the period prior to the time when the Course is confirmed by way of Confirmation.
“Confirmation” is the point at which the class times, days, venues and prices are confirmed for the relevant academic year for a Course, as set out in the published Course Prospectus. This usually occurs in early spring immediately prior to the start of the relevant academic year when the Course is due to commence.
1) During the Provisional Period a place is reserved for your child in your chosen class (time, day and venue) on a provisional basis. If that class is not confirmed, you will be offered a choice of alternative classes, subject to availability in the other classes at the time.We do not guarantee that a suitable class will be available.
2) The price for a Course is the current price and is subject to change. Our prices tend to increase each year. The price for your child’s Course will be set out in the Prospectus for the Course once it is confirmed. This usually occurs in early spring immediately prior to the start of the relevant academic year when the Course is due to commence.
3) The Course price, content, format, lesson duration, class size, the SDE teaching team, comparative data and analytics, online and offline resources that are made available to parents and students are continuously evolving. By reviewing an existing Course Prospectus you may be able to get an indication of the kind of Courses we offer, but we reserve the right to change any aspect of the Course (including, but not limited to, the Course features and attributes listed above) prior to Confirmation.
4) During the Provisional Period we offer a flat rate £100 deposit for any SDE 11+ Course. This deposit secures a place on the Course, subject to the other provisions, and is non-refundable and non-transferable to another parent or student. This means that if you decide not to proceed for any reason, the deposit will be forfeited. The only exception to this is if you change your mind within 14 days of paying the deposit, in which case the full £100 deposit will be refunded to you.
5) Once your child’s Course is confirmed by way of our Confirmation to you will be asked to pay the balance of the Course deposit within 1 month. The balance is the difference between £100 already paid and the Course deposit. For example, if the deposit for a Course is £350, a balance of £250 is due within 1 month of the Course Confirmation. We will write to you at this stage and explain what you need to do. Please don’t worry about missing a email communication from us, if we do not hear from you we will contact you by telephone to follow-up.
6) If the balance of deposit is not paid within 1 month of our writing to you, your child’s place on the Course will be released. In these circumstances your £100 deposit will not be refunded, however you will not be liable for any further payments, including the balance of deposit which has been requested.
7) Once the balance of your deposit has been paid these terms and conditions will cease to have effect and our relationship will be governed by the Course Terms and Conditions. These will be accessible from the Course Prospectus for your child’s Course, which is issued at Confirmation.
